( Jeffrey Locker pictured obviously during happier times) deeply in debt allegedly pays another man by giving him his ATM card to help him commit suicide. How sad! This man made his living as an inspirational speaker no less! He was tied up in his vehicle and while the assistant held the knife steady...Locker hurled himself against it. I cannot imagine being either man...can you? Now the man is being charged in the death and is trying to get the charges reduced to manslaughter or dropped altogether. The only reason prosecutors are considering the lesser charges is that there is evidence that the deceased took out large insurance policies and looked into funeral arrangements prior to the incident.
Another thing that is a point of speculation is that in NYC, Harlem, to be specific...wouldn't there be people walking by the car and see this altercation and call police. Maybe not, but this is strange....just like the last post. Should this man be exonerated even if the deceased asked him to help him commit suicide?

There are far easier and less painful ways to kill yourself if that's what you want. The killer's whole story sounds unbelievable.
I agree the story is so unbelievable.
Why would the man not do something that did not involve another person if he truly wanted to end his life like jumping off a bridge. And typically insurance policies will not pay for suicide until it has been in effect for a year. Maybe that is the reason it had to look like something else.
