Emmett Bouge miracle baby times 2

Nice update on a entry brought earlier about the Bouge Family of TN

Prayers for The Bouge Family

Emmett Poe, our miracle child x2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Emmett was born on January 14, 2013. He is a rainbow baby, we miscarried in April and immediately became pregnant with him. We always thought that the doctors were wrong on his due date but much to our surprise, his birth-date saved my life (I'll come back to this in a second).
At just 14 days old, he survived the horrific head on collision that killed his big sissy, his Grandmother and the driver at fault. Emmett had to be resuscitated and he had a broken femur (leg), a concussion and some minor injuries
to his chest wall. His infant car seat literally saved his life.
Now, remember how I said we thought the doctors were off of my due date and how Emmett saved MY life? Since he was only born two weeks prior, my body was still retaining the progesterone from the pregnancy. With all of my injuries that I sustained, from being crushed from the chest down, the surgeons were amazed at how I survived. The head surgeon told me himself, that I did not bleed out because of the progesterone. (They are actually doing studies about giving progesterone to trauma patients).
Thank God for my son, thank God for miracles.
God is the only reason we are both here. Miracles do happen, we are living proof.
12 hrs in a morgue... premie baby is still alive
Shocking story out of Argentina....mother delivers baby girl prematurely at 26  gestation. The doctors inform her that the baby died. Twelve hours later she insists on visiting the body of her daughter in the morgue to view her one last time and take a picture of her. They had to pry open the casket that had been in the freezer and the baby moved!
"The parents, who were going to call their daughter Luciana Abigail, said she will now be baptised Luz Milagros, which means Light Miracles."
I'll say!! All medical personnel have been suspended pending an investigation.
Miracle 12oz-baby Audrey Jean born 15 weeks early
From Catholic Vote.org.
Have some Kleenex handy:
Audrey Jean was born 15 weeks early at just 25 weeks gestation due to severe pre-eclampsia and severe IUGR. At birth she weighed only 12 ounces (350 grams) and was 10 inches in length. The doctors gave us very little hope in her survival. But the minutes turned into hours and hours into days. She surpassed all expectations. After 93 days in the NICU, we brought our beautiful, healthy baby girl home. This video is a photo [and video] journal capturing our journey with Audrey from birth through her first 8 months of life! Her journey is truly remarkable. Enjoy!
A website which catalogues the tiniest surviving babies puts Audrey Jean at almost 100 grams heavier and several weeks older than other babies who have survived extreme-premature birth.
The video above is a rare chance to witness outside the womb what normally happens to little babies at this age inside the womb.
A new study shows that unborn twins interact with each other as early as 14 weeks. Audrey Jean is almost twice as old as the babies in that study.
37 states allow abortions past 24 weeks gestational age. Pro-abortion organizations believe all state bans on abortion are unconstitutional.
Miracle baby in Houston; surgery at 6 mos. gestation and then put back to continue pregnancy
Houston, TX....great story featured on the Today Show. I note that the interviewer starts out calling her a fetus but quickly switches to baby. This amazing story is like the Baby Samuel story that made headlines at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville several years ago. In this case, mom was 6 mos. pregnant when the ultrasound showed that a grapefruit size tumor was attached to the baby girl and was literally robbing her blood supply. Without tricky surgery, she would die. The surgery meant that the baby was 80% lifted out of the uterus and then returned for another 10 weeks gestation. Macie Hope literally was born twice. You certainly could not convince anyone in this story of the lack of personhood or humanity of Macie Hope. Great ending.....
