Another back door way to excuse discretionary spending...

I do not agree with these cartoons...no one is trying to say that discretionary spending is not as big as the other "elephants" in the room but I get annoyed when someone wants to argue that it is only a few $$MM and represents a small amount in the $$14 Trillion deficit. Yes, I understand but a few $$ MM here and a few $$MM there pretty soon it adds up. Think of a family on the verge of bankruptcy saying  our eating out every night is not costing us that much so let's keep doing it while we try to figure out how we will make the house and car payments. You start with the discretionary spending.  Of course this is another way to frame the argument to continue to give $$ to Planned Parenthood. What is just $$380MM in the scheme of things with a 14 Trillion dollar deficit.
