TN mom banned from Facebook for posting pics baby with defects....who lived 8 hrs.

Facebook has been known for banning pro life pics  of aborted babies.   They have also  been known to relax their standards on other social issues.  Millington, TN mom fights back and was subsequently banned from Facebook for 24 hours for re-posting pictures of her baby Grayson James Walker  who lived only 8 hours following birth.
(Heather) Walker learned of her baby’s fatal birth defect 16 weeks into her pregnancy. Though doctors said she could choose to abort, she decided to carry her son to term, turning to her faith to help with the months ahead.
This family has a right to grieve their loss anyway they want. They hired a photographer from the non profit Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep to capture the short hours God gave them with their third child.
Heather and family are not taking this rebuff lightly as she reports in this video. I had posted previously about another TN family who had the same issue with their son Isaiah who lived  barely an hour but this  artistic family had the most beautiful way to honor his short life during their celebration of his life.

10 things banned and SF and maybe soon 11...circumcision !!

I have become so enthralled with life in SF, that I looked up what is currently banned in SF with the former post about the current push to ban circumcision ? Lots of personal choice, huh?

 1. Happy Meals

Or more specifically, toys in Happy Meals. But, what kind of Happy Meal doesn’t include a toy?

2. Segways

Segways are not allowed on sidewalks or bike paths because the mayor of San Francisco thought they promoted laziness.

3. Plastic Bags

Plastic bags are currently not allowed at large chain supermarkets and drug stores, but they are considering expanding the ban to all stores.

4. Soda

Soda and juice drinks with no real fruit juice cannot be sold from vending machines on city property.

5. Firearms in Advertisements

Advertisements in San Francisco cannot “promote the use of firearms or advocate any violent action.” The poster for The Other Guy had all the weapons removed just for San Francisco’s Muni system last summer.

6. Baby Animals

It’s illegal to sell baby chickens, ducks, and rabbits in San Francisco.

7. Arizona

As a protest to the state’s strict immigration policies, city employees (except for police officers investigating a crime) are not allowed to travel to Arizona.

8. Bottled Water

City money cannot be used to purchase bottled water and it cannot be sold from vending machines on city property.

9. Smoking

Tobacco cigarettes are not allowed to be smoked in buildings, and clove cigarettes are not permitted to be sold in the city at all.

10. Sitting

In order to curb aggressive panhandling, San Francisco outlawed sitting on the street between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
