New Findings Cast Increasing Doubt on Schiavo’s Death

As one of my friends put it so well during this ordeal....since when in the United States do we starve someone to death??

Bobby Schindler writes of the latest finding of the New England Journal of Medicine ,Feb. 3, 2010 on findings of awareness in patients previously diagnosed with Persistent Vegetative State (PVS) .This was used as one of the deciding factors in whether Terri Schaivo should have food and water discontinued . These important findings are crucial to those fighting for the rights of the disabled loved ones and a call to action to protect them from careless legislation or the idea that a person with a disability must prove themselves worthy of life’s most ordinary needs: food and water.
