We still protect the right of conscience for those medical professionals who do not want to participate in abortion...we still have the one parent consent rule with judicial bypass and we still insist that the doctor perform the abortion.Egads! How could we? Further more...we won't use tax dollars to pay for someone's abortion unless it is the result of rape, incest, threatens the life of the mother.
However do to a State Supreme Court hearing TN has a greater right to abortion than is found in the federal constitution , thanks to activist judges and Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. They are proud they took away informed consent, waiting periods, and the ability to regulate abortion facilities. It is still shocking to think that the place you get your nails done has more regulations, restrictions and inspections that the local abortion mill. But way to go TN. Let's aim for an F and make TN a safe place for LIVING.
