Townhall has a good piece about the 8th District in TN that traditionally leans Democrat but this year may have a different slant. This pits Herron(D) and Fincher (R). They sure have Herron's number.
"Herron embodies why most people are sick of politicians. Tennesseans won’t like Herron’s history of raising taxes on the middle class while voting himself multiple pay raises; or his support for taxpayer-funded abortion; or his support for the job-killing legislation known as “card check.”
My personal beef with Herron is that he tries to pass himself off as pro life (former pastor don't you know....but know that his denomination is not opposed to abortion) but for all his storytelling about his wife's pregnancy issues....he comes down as a sure vote for the abortion industry. Then to deflect attention away from his true stance, he sponsors a meaningless bill that masquerades as "pro life lite" that he knows will go no where and do nothing...but give him political cover. Be not fooled....he is not pro life, you will not see PP come out against him. They care not about his tall tales but his final vote.
