Sept 26th: Pulpit Freedom Sunday in TN

The Tennessean led with this article

"Pastors will bait the IRS this Sunday by sending copies of their sermon to them."
David Shelley, (pictured left) pastor of Smith Springs Baptist Church, will endorse three Republican candidates during his Sunday sermon. My support for these candidates has nothing to do with their party  or their skin color or any other non-biblically related issue," he said.

They will be among 100 pastors nationwide using the pulpit as a platform for political endorsements, flouting a federal law that threatens churches with the loss of their nonprofit status if they stray too far into partisan politics.
This is about a pastor's right of free speech.".....said Erik Stanley, spokesman for the Alliance Defense Fund....
The seven Tennessee houses of worship participating in the ADF initiative Sunday include Pentecostal, Southern Baptist, Church of Christ, Lutheran and Messianic Jewish congregations.
