Telemed abortions: Death by Skype

A post from Jill Stanek discusses the phenomenon of using telemed medical abortions which was introduced in IA.  After reading Unplanned by Abby Johnson, I see where PP sees this as the new way to abort and increase the bottom line.  Congressman Steve King is asking Kathleen Sebelius to assure that tax money is not used to buy equipment for this method of abortions.

"Aside from the controversy over the legality and safety of telemed RU-486 abortions, Iowa Republican Congressman Steve King wants to know if federal tax dollars are financing it."
I thought some of the comments to Jill's post were pretty thought provoking and to the point...

Death by Skype” what a pathetic idea. Only the “Dead Babies R Us” crew could come up with such a terrible idea. I will contact my congressman. Those MDs involved in this, how are they going to know exactly how much blood loss a woman is having? How do you medically evaluate whether she is hemorrhaging? How are you sure you got all the babies parts? Does the woman examine the body parts herself ? Who takes the liability when she has postpartum hemorrhage, infection, etc. I have seen D & Cs for medical purposes done under anesthesia in the OR. Do you know the intensity of cramping and bleeding it would take to dislodge a healthy baby embedded in the endometrial lining of a woman’s uterus? The retching, vomiting and cramping alone would be horrible, sitting in front of a computer camera is unimaginable. God help us. It’s ok pro-aborts, don’t bother, you are fine with this I know. These are rhetorical questions.

ProLifer – the woman who is aborting goes through an interview process with an off-site physician who pushes a magic button and dispenses the pill out of a computer terminal the aborting woman is sitting at in her Iowa Planned Parenthood abortion station. She then takes the pill(s) and has her abortion alone. I call it a “chemical coat hanger.” I cannot get past the fact that the same people who made up stuff about “back-alley abortions” to get their barbarous murder of unborn humans legalized think it is okay and actually “progressive” to send a woman home to deal with the death and expulsion of her tiny baby, along with the associated vomiting, cramping, excessive bleeding and horror that go with it. Alone. No one shares the culpability with the mom in a Telmed abortion. It is hers. Alone. Planned Parenthood has seen to it with this demonic turn of events. States would do well to enact laws immediately requiring medical supervision and monitoring of all RU-486 abortions, raising the standard of care to where it would be for any other such medical procedure (if anything can be compared to this). Such laws would seriously subdue this barbaric practice, I am sure.
