Tennessee Right to Life Endorses Kerry Roberts for State Senate 18

Tennessee Right to Life Endorses Kerry Roberts for State Senate 18

After a careful review of candidate surveys and statements regarding matters of importance to pro-life Tennesseans, the state’s leading pro-life organization has announced its endorsement of Kerry Roberts in the special election for State Senate 18 on March 8th. The special election is being held to fill the seat vacated by Diane Black upon her election to the United States House of Representatives.

"In order to restore common sense protections for Tennessee’s unborn children and abortion-vulnerable women and families, we must continue to strengthen pro-life majorities in the General Assembly,” said Brian Harris, President of Tennessee Right to Life. “Kerry Roberts articulates the pro-life mission in a manner which demonstrates a clear understanding of what is at stake and what must be done to protect human life in Tennessee,” said Harris.

Tennessee Right to Life urges concerned pro-life supporters to work and vote for Roberts’ election.  Early voting runs February 16 through March 3 in Robertson and Sumner Counties.  Special election day is Tuesday, March 8.
