The conspiracy of silence....nurses in training....

Friend and pro life laborer posted something on Facebook that caught my eye....she also had a blog. It was about an experience she had in working a pro life booth at the annual Southern Women's Show.

"Long story short, he is a registered nurse and said that several years ago he was at work when a lady miscarried a baby at about 10-12 weeks.  After it happened, he found several of the nurses together in the utility room intently studying the baby.  He asked them what they were doing and they made comments that they were just looking because they had no idea that a baby that small was so perfectly formed.  He asked how on EARTH they had gotten all the way through nursing school and didn’t know that!
He then went on to tell me that in their classes, when they are studying development of the baby, they show pictures and clear images of the baby, but when they are discussing abortion, they show blurred out photos so it doesn’t look like there are defined parts, but more of a “blob”."
So the conspiracy of silence on the humanity of the pre born reaches into the teaching profession....surprised? Anyone else have a similar experience. Is this the way they deaden your conscience to prepare you for the what is out there?

Thanks for the post...pinkflannelnightgown....thought provoking isn't it?  Is there a conspiracy of silence in the educational arena?
