Gerald Warner:Abortion advertisements on TV: the pro-life lobby must now be allowed to broadcast the grim realities

Excellent article on the advertising of abortion on British television. This is brought to you by the Marie Stopes organization which is their version of Planned Parenthood. Now who was Marie Stopes? Checking out this question,  shows a strong resemblance to her US counterpart,  Margaret Sanger. Both started out advocating for contraception and were big into eugenics. Marie Stopes was said to be a  personal as well as political devotee of Adolph Hitler. Like the founder of PP, she advocated for sterilization  for those deemed unfit to reproduce. Interesting that the  abortion industry in Britain and the US would continue to honor those with such beliefs and align themselves with this movement which now hides behind the word choice.

Now Britain says it is time to bring abortion out of the closet and into the mainstream. They are not ashamed but the word abortion is not used only inferred.  In this article, Warner points out that since abortion has become a fit subject for TV advertising....they should no longer object to their ads showing what abortion does to babies. They should be allowed to show the reality of abortion. As the article puts it....
Now that Marie Stopes is advertising, in an obvious attempt to attract more consumers, it is only reasonable that its product should be subjected to the same scrutiny as any other advertised service. Consumers have a right to know exactly what they are being offered.
Read the excellent article here.   They want to bring abortion out of the closet. Fair enough As they might say in Great Britain. Game on.
