This article tells about one of the characters who gets pregnant by a murderer and is fearful that she is carrying the devil's own spawn....she is squemish about going to an abortion mill for a surgical procedure so she opts for a Wican abortion in the woods. Sounds something like the chemical abortion RU 486....
But she’s desperate, so she agrees to let Holly take her out to the woods, draw a magic circle around her, feed her what we assume is penny royal tea mixed with a drop of blood, and offer prayers to the great Mother Goddess to kindly lend her services in order to get rid of Arlene’s little bundle of horror.
But as we await such developments, we can agree that Arlene’s approach towards her own failed abortion was a perfect send-up of American attitudes towards the procedure. Her speech was the kind of thing that clinic workers hear daily from “anti-choice” women who arrive for their own abortions. It explains why many Americans self-identify as anti-choice but are reluctant to fully ditch the right to choose, and abortion remains common despite a hostile climate. The writers of this article get in their own shot about their angst that more people today describe themselves as pro life instead of pro abortion. Why even the vampires seem to understand that life begins at conception. I am not into vampire shows but certainly remember Dracula....I looked up the definition of vampires to see what they say about them today with the resurgence of interest in them. Some words used to describe them remind me of abortion .......and those who support this grisly procedure.....the fascination of human blood which is needed for survival ....beheading, burning, dismemberment , wanting to do their deeds under cover to hide their activities, avoiding the sunlight to expose their evil way. Grisly for sure, but so is partial birth abortion, saline abortion, abortion by dismemberment etc.
Gory things to talk about on a Saturday morning but in abortion mills across our country this is what is happening.

Actually they shows writers are following the storyline of the Sookie Stackhouse books. HBO did not create this popular mess... Charlaine Harris did! ;)
