 This is a beautiful story and video of love  and care of a child who entered this family at birth by adoption only to find out after at 7 mos. that she has Spinal MD. This is Sara Seavers of Gallatin, TN


"God sent Sara to us" says the mother. The birth parents,  when contacted , said they were unaware that they carried the gene that brings on this disease but another sibling was just diagnosed with it. This caught my eye because as a pro life blogger I spend too much time reading stories of infanticide and the search for the perfect child via prenatal testing etc. It can get pretty discouraging sometimes. But this family not only cares for this child but calls themselves lucky to have her. No feeling sorry that this happened to them. No talk of returning her when a genetic disability was detected . 

Sometimes an uplifting story like this is just the medicine we need today.  We are all blessed to have Sara in our lives.
