First Things: Politics and Eye Movement ....is this good use of our tax money?

Wesley J. Smith  lampoons Politics and Eye Movement,”  from  BioNews:  funded in part by the National Science Foundation.
"I always laugh at the purported scientific studies that seek to explain differences in perception between liberals and conservatives. What about those who change positions .....or the moderates. "
The study used "gaze cues" to test a person's response on a computer screen showing "Liberals responded strongly to the prompts, consistently moving their attention in the direction suggested to them by a face on a computer screen. Conservatives, on the other hand, did not."
Sooooo??
