Per the article Silverman's apology was borne out of concern that her professional life might suffer because of her unusual sense of humor.
Actually Silverman's embodies the Hollywood trend of dehumanizing
the pre born and to them to deliberate destruction of life is a big
joke. So Silverman was just being herself and reflecting the dominate
culture in Hollywood. If her possible sitcom is being considered by NBC,
I would say she fits in quite well with the culture there.
Wonder what post abortive men and women think of her joke and half hearted apology.
