Down on the Pharm exposes the truth about Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, whose claim to fame is her state senate filibuster in favor of late-term abortion. It seems that the twice-divorced candidate fudged information about her first divorce in her official bio. She also omitted the fact that her second husband paid for her college, cared for their daughter Dru (and her daughter from her first marriage,Amber) while she attended school in Boston, and they divorced right after he made Davis’ last tuition payment. He was then granted custody of both daughters and Wendy Davis was directed to pay child support. This story – where a former colleague is noted as saying ““Wendy is tremendously ambitious…. She’s not going to let family or raising children or anything else get in her way” – is a must-read.

In typical biased fashion, mainstream media – instead of calling out Democrat Davis – pounced on conservatives for exposing the lies in her own bio.

At Coming Home, Dr. Gerard Nadal calls for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (pictured right) resignation over his declaration that those who don’t agree with him politically (including “right to lifers”) “have no place” in the state. Amazing how the party that celebrates “tolerance” shows little for opposing views:

… [H]e defines people acting in accord with the tenets of his own [Catholic] Church as extremist and unwelcome in the state. That is a declaration of war on religion by the governor. This incendiary rhetoric is meant to turn New Yorkers against one another, breeding into the political bone marrow a strain of hatred and intolerance that will take generations to purge.

Cuomo is now claiming that his comments were “distorted” and taken out of context.

Big Blue Wave says while the creators of the MTV reality program “16 and Pregnant” claim they will show a teen mom’s abortion, the truth is that “if it doesn’t show the fetus being sucked by a vacuum, then they are not showing the abortion.”

Live Action reports that “3D Babies, a California company, says it will create a fetal doll from the mother’s 3D/4D ultrasound pictures”:
While a fetus figurine isn’t going to be everyone’s idea of a great investment, the fact that a fetal model can be crafted with accuracy is another blow to the abortion movement, which loses more ground every time something like this happens.

Euthanasia Prevention Coalition’s Alex Schadenberg comments on a case in France similar to that of Terri Schiavo. The courts have intervened to save the life of a man whose wife wanted him to die via starvation and dehydration:
The ruling goes against the wish of his wife and instead favours the parents’ desire to keep their son alive. The wife and parents… have long been in opposition over the issue and in recent months his brothers and sisters have become involved on opposing sides.

For the 5th year in a row, Washington ranked as the worst state for life for failing to protect women from an unmonitored and under-regulated abortion industry, followed by California, Vermont, New York, and Connecticut.
