PA, NM and Kenya.

PA and NM and Kenya....what do they all have in common. Obama wants to support abortion using our tax money. I already blogged about PA setting up high risk pools using tax money to pay for abortions and now New Mexico From  NRO
"In New Mexico, the new $37 million high-risk pool began enrolling individuals on July 1. They will start receiving benefits in August, including elective-abortion services, according to the state insurance department's website. Once a deductible is paid, 80 percent of the elective abortion is covered."
Now what's this about Kenya ? Well, in violation of the Siljander Amendment which carries civil and criminal penalties, Obama is funneling monies to NGO's that are rallying for the change in the constitution to include abortions.

Now the Obama administration is doing a double take and a quick soft shoe. First they said abortion is not in there and when proven wrong....they quickly pulled out the language proving their untruthfulness or incompetence...  take your pick. So now they are correcting the language stating their support for funding of abortion.
This makes NARAL  furious and they sent out a email blast demanding the pro choicers  remind this pro choice president who brought him to the dance.

Help us fight back. Tell President Obama that the abortion-coverage ban was not part of the agreement on health reform.

Oprah and GMA ‘Bristle’ at Bristol’s Pledge of Abstinence

How sad that the media instead of applauding and encouraging secondary virginity say it is unrealistic and "bristles" at it. This is why I don't watch Oprah. She is no role model. I am glad not to be a teen in today's culture

Oprah and GMA ‘Bristle’ at Bristol’s Pledge of Abstinence
Media mogul and network agree that swearing off sex isn't 'realistic.’

Every week Oprah Winfrey encourages over 44 million Americans to “Live Your Best Life” – the mantra of her billion-dollar brand.

“The key to realizing a dream,” Oprah said in the Sept. 2002 issue of her O magazine, “is to focus not on success but significance - and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning.”

Maybe Oprah should revisit that statement and add, “Unless we’re talking about sexual abstinence. In that case, just throw in the towel.”

In a Jan. 22 interview, Oprah criticized Bristol Palin, the teen daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, for recently telling In Touch Weekly that she was pledging abstinence until marriage.

“I kinda of bristled,” Oprah began, “when I saw this – where you said, ‘I’m not going to have sex until I’m married. I can guarantee it’ … I’m just wondering if that is a realistic goal. I think teaching responsibility, teaching, ya know, a sense of judgment about it, but is that a realistic position?”

Strange that Oprah decided to be “realistic” about saving sex for marriage. Forget about that “focus on not success but significance” hogwash. Forget empowerment and realizing your dream. You’re a slave to your hormones, and stating your intention of abstaining from sex is simply “setting yourself up [for failure].”

Bristol, who as a mother at 19 knows a little something about the subject, wasn’t swayed.

“I just think it’s a goal to have,” she replied. “And I think that other young women should have that goal.”

Sarah Palin makes a statement AGAIN

story from National Catholic Register
by Danielle Bean Friday, January 15, 2010

Well, this is bound to stick in someone’s craw. Pretty much everything Sarah Palin does seems to, so it might as well be a bold pro-life statement that gets her into trouble this time.

She and daughter Bristol are featured on the cover of the latest issue of In Touch Weekly which hits news stands today. I like the simplicity of the mother-daughter message:

“We’re Glad We Chose Life.”
