Homeless man arrested for setting fire at abortion facility in FL

So glad they caught the man who appears to be responsible for setting the fire at the Pensacola abortion facility. He is reported to be a homeless man who has a long record of felony convictions in several states including TN . He was riding in a stolen vehicle when he was apprehended. 

The story tries to label him as being part of a pro life group but there is no evidence to that. He said he intentionally started the fire because he was "had a strong disbelief" in abortion.  He set the fire in the middle of the night and stayed around long enough to make sure the blaze was going and then went to the  shed behind a restaurant where he slept.

The story notes that the clinic was the site of almost daily "protests" of people  carrying "Bibles, crosses and signs" but admit there was no violence associated with these "protests." They probably are referring to the 40 Days for Life that just concluded.  They state that this man who does not sound mentally stable was "fueled by watching a young woman enter the clinic while he looked on with "protesters."

The affidavit shows that Rogers has felony convictions in Alabama, Tennessee and Missouri for burglary and in Mississippi for grand larceny.

NYC: Shameful statistics does not humble PP

 There is a vanilla story on AOL about New York City having an abortion rate of 41%, double the national average.  It includes a non statement from PP.

"Joan Malin, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of New York City, issued a statement saying unplanned pregnancies are affected by access to information, birth control, sex education and intimate-partner violence."

Was she smiling when she issued that statement.....which is code for business is good! 

Especially when you consider these statistics...."broke down along demographic and geographic lines: 60% for black women, 41% for Hispanics, 22% for Asians and 20% for white women…."
Let's get some background on what is going on here.   

The vanilla story does not mention that NYC is trying to pass  laws against Pregnancy Resource Centers.
They want signs at all entrances and in waiting rooms stating all the services this non profit  that provides all their services free and confidentially  do not offer. They do not want to answer why for profit abortion mills should not be required to do the same.  As a trained volunteer at CPC's we do clearly state that we do not perform abortions or refer for them. Given their shameful statistics now revealed, you would think they would quietly drop this resolution but I guess good business for the abortion industry is not enough. They want more!!!

LA: Shuts down first abortion facility due to unsafe conditions following passage of new laws

 Article tells of LA first shut down over safety concerns following authorization from legislators to have state health dept. inspection abortion facilities.

"Louisiana health officials suspended an abortion clinic's license Friday, the first time the state has used its new authority to shut down such a facility over health and safety concerns.

The Louisiana health department ordered the Hope Medical Group for Women in Shreveport to immediately cease performing the procedures, saying an investigation found the clinic failed to ensure that a physician performed and documented a physical exam on each woman before a procedure. The clinic also failed to follow several procedures involving anesthesia, including not properly monitoring vital signs, the agency said."

What's in a name??

Something caught my eye this AM...an ad for abortion mills in CA called Her Smart Choice. Subliminal message....abortion is the smart choice for unplanned pregnancy. But of course it is your decision...they start off with the usual dribble saying it can be one of life's most difficult choice....why I thought it was the smart choice?  Hard to be smart, I guess.  Then they go on to explain that in CA parents do not have to consent to a minor child's abortion so we will keep your secret from your parents...another smart choice, I guess.

Also interesting  is that they offer PE which stands for presumptive eligibility program which  is financed by Med Cal that provides "temporary" abortion care  immediately and free for those who qualify. So my first thought is what is temporary about abortion.? It is a permanent decision that cannot be reversed. So they presume you are eligible and give you a free abortion and find a way to charge the state....especially those minors. No wonder the state is broke.

 They also brag that their clinic is different from others... .it is clean....wow what a relief!




While saying how safe this all is they end with the  usual things to watch for following the procedure and discharge instructions and a number of their answering service  to call for complications and since you are so important they will make "reasonable"efforts  to return your call but end with this bolded warning.
