  • Wesley J. Smith discusses the search and destroy mentality of many medical professionals when it comes to unborn children with Down Syndrome, and how the pressure to abort causes women to avoid prenatal testing.

  • National Pro Life Radio highlights the fact that the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation has changed its name to The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network and hopes “… to continue to develop and update our network to help families protect their loved ones from a very aggressive anti-life agenda taking control of our nation.” The new logo and website that can be seen at the same web address, terrisfight.org.
  • Fr. Frank Pavone relates the life issue to the Lord’s Prayer: When we pray to be delivered from the evil one, we are praying to be delivered from the culture of death, and to stay faithful to Christ’s Kingdom of Life. We are praying that we will not be deceived by the false promises of the evil one, who presents abortion as a solution to a problem, though it is no such thing.
  • Mark Pickup, a self-described “triplegic with advanced multiple sclerosis,” often lends insight to the struggles of the disabled and how their suffering has meaning. Pickup quotes C.S. Lewis’ views on suffering from The Problem of Pain: No doubt Pain as God’s megaphone is a terrible instrument; it may lead to final and unrepented rebellion. But it gives the only opportunity the bad man can have for amendment. It removes the veil; it plants the flag of truth within the fortress of a rebel mind.
