Politico: boasts exclusive with abortion industry with no breaking news

Politico has a puff piece with their pro abort side kicks lamenting their weak status given the loud voice of the American people in the last election.  Despite their  typical rhetoric of anti abortion vs. abortion rights advocates and boasting  that the pro aborts are giving them an exclusive before releasing their paltry analysis and excuse ridden game plans.....the article is a smile fest for  pro lifers.

They point out that pro life adovcates are pushing forward with an aggressive agenda announced publicly; taking advantage of state initiatives...OK passing law requiring women the right to be shown ultrasounds before abortions and having docs give accurate information about the picture , NE with the fetal pain law which ran late term abortionist and Tiller sidekick out of the state, saying NO to using tax $$ to pay for abortions in the new Obamacare law and making  permanent  the law known as the Hyde Amendment that bans the use of  federal  dollars for abortions instead of renewing it annually.
I found it interesting that the reporter who was spoon fed information from the abortion industry did not ask any questions or do any homework.  When discussing the NE fetal pain law  that was passed in April and went into effect in Oct. causing Carhart to pack  up his instruments and flee to other states; the industry made noises about the law being unconstitutional but have not yet challenged it .  When quizzed on why no challenge yet the  abortion industry said they don't want to publicly discuss strategy and are looking for the right case for the challenge. A little homework on behalf of the reporter would have turned up this interesting quote from the atty for Carhart.

"losing  such a challenge would risk having the court throw away the viability standard in favor of a pain standard, which could be further lowered should it be proven fetuses feel can feel pain earlier than 20 weeks."

My favorite part of the article is the abortion industry attempts to change the subject warning the new pro life majority that it is really the economy that the American people care about and if they spend too much time on social issues they may find themselves  in trouble. Yes sir, the abortion industry is concerned about the economy of their own bottom line.
