This reminds me of baby Samuel during surgery at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville in 1999. Fellow Tennessean and photojournalist Michael Clancy took an amazing picture of a baby at 21 weeks gestation during the operation to repair spina bifida. But here is a similar story.... this baby was in the process of being born by C section when she reached out and squeezed the hand of the doctor.
