Support HR 217 Defund Planned Parenthood

Isn't it interesting that as taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood increases so do the number of abortions they perform? Their annual report just released showed a record number of abortions in the fiscal year 2011-12 and coincidentally their federal funding reached an all-time high as well.
Abortions make up more than 92 percent of their services while prenatal care and adoption referrals account for less than 8 percent. By their own account, 45 percent of their revenue is from our tax dollars. Now they are even mandating that all their affiliates perform abortions.
Abortion is not healthcare and I applaud Rep. Diane Black for reintroducing HR 217 to defund Planned Parenthood. Americans do not want any tax money going to the nation's largest promoter and provider of abortions. I congratulate Rep. Black for her strong defense of the sanctity of human life and encourage everyone to support this effort to defend life.

HHS tries to bully IN for defunding Planned Parenthood...wants to warn off other states....

Obama will clearly go to the mat for Planned Parenthood.  Today through his administration he
stated....
“Medicaid programs may not exclude qualified health care providers — whether an individual provider, a physician group, an outpatient clinic or a hospital — from providing services under the program because they separately provide abortion services,” Center for Medicaid Director Cindy Mann wrote in the memo.
But  Mike Fichter, IN Right to Life responded...
“The Obama administration appears to be intent on trying to force Indiana to subsidize the business of abortion in direct contrast to the desires of the state legislature and the people of Indiana.  Indiana must refuse to be bullied by the federal government and must challenge this politically-charged determination with full vigor.  The state of Indiana has a right to determine how it will manage its Medicaid program and to select the providers it will partner with.  Planned Parenthood is not entitled to public funding,” he said.

Per the AP article , IN is not going  to shy away from this fight.
"Marcus Barlow, a spokesman for Indiana's Family and Social Services Administration, said the state's attorneys have told his department that it must continue to comply with the law passed by the Indiana General Assembly.
We will seek guidance from the Indiana attorney general on how to proceed forward," he said. Bryan Corbin, a spokesman for Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller, said the letter was being reviewed to determine the state's options but that "we will continue to defend the statute."
So IN is saying Game On....we will fight this. The Administration is trying to get ugly to warn off other states that they had better not try to  defund their pet. The abortion industry  is flexing their muscle and Obama is bowing to their demands.

Mystery person authorizes the insertion of stealth amendment to stop PP defunding

Update again...June 1st...Well the names are coming out...now what are we to do to fix this???

Update: May 28th...No it didn't...yes it did.... Campfield sums it  up...we are all virgins but somehow we got pregnant!

Update: It came from the Senate side.
Well here it is ..a real whodunnit in TN. If you follow Senator Stacey Campfield's newsy blog you could follow the story as it unfolds

The idea that a legislative attorney "states"  that  on the direction of an "unnamed legislator" inserted a stealth amendment into the budget in the hurried and waning hours of the session to  undo a sponsored amendment in  the final defunding of Planned Parenthood in TN suspends belief.

Inquiring minds want to know at whose direction the atty inserted  the amendment and as of now the denials are being followed like a check list ticking off possibilities.

But what can be done at this point is a point of much discussion.

Even in NY.....frantic twitter from PP of NYC...bill introduced to defund PP!!

Frantic twitter from  PP of NYC..

"Assemblyman Steven Katz introduced a bill (A.7841) to bar Planned Parenthood, and any other organization that provides abortions, from receiving any state money at all, including money from Medicaid, family planning grants, Title X, CAPPs and other education programs funded by the State"

I am proud that we did it in TN and in my home state of WI...now even the abortion capitals are stepping up to the plate.

Pro life states to PP: want our $$ then stop doing abortions...

States are not hesitating to flex their pro life muscle and  we are glad to see them pressing forward. Good for them. Let's keep it coming.

Looks like IN will be the first to receive a governor's signature.  While PP cries the blues, Gov Mitch Daniels reminds Hoosiers that

"...that not only will there be non-abortion health services readily available to all of the 92 counties in Indiana, but that “We will take any actions necessary to ensure that vital medical care is, if anything, more widely available than before.”

" Daniels went on to say that he has ordered the Family and Social Services Administration to send out letters to each of the Medicaid patients notifying them of facilities in their area that provide services.  Daniels also said that any clinic that is affected by this law "can resume receiving taxpayer dollars immediately by ceasing or separating its operations that perform abortions."

So Planned Parenthood, what say you?? How important is the sacred cow of abortion to you anyway? Ball is in your court...

YOEST & FRANZONELLO: Nation’s largest abortion provider: Planned Parenthood

Great editorial on the issue of Planned Parenthood.... they keep running from the truth but we keep reminding them of the facts.

Planned Parenthood always has been selectively proud of its abortion affiliation. But throughout the congressional debate over its funding, Planned Parenthood has worked hard to keep under wraps the fact that it is increasingly synonymous with abortion.
Since 1970, Planned Parenthood’s involvement in the abortion business has grown tremendously. With each passing year, it performs more abortions, even though the national abortion rate has declined steadily since 1990. Today, Planned Parenthood performs and profits from one in every four abortions in the United States.
There was a time when Planned Parenthood did not advocate abortion. In a 1952 brochure on birth control, Planned Parenthood responds to the question “Is it an abortion?” with the following answer: “Definitely not. An abortion requires an operation. It kills the life of a baby after it has begun. It is dangerous to your life and health. It may make you sterile so that when you want to have a child you cannot have it. Birth control merely postpones the beginning of life.”
However, during the tenure of Dr. Alan Guttmacher, who was Planned Parenthood’s president from 1962 to 1974, the organization experienced its “abortion-defining moment.” Planned Parenthood went from warning women about the dangers of abortion to being among the first to eagerly profit from its legalization.

Rep. Black (TN) moves to halt Planned Parenthood funding...

WASHINGTON — "U.S. Rep. Diane Black, R-Gallatin, introduced her first piece of legislation Tuesday, HConRes36, which would defund Planned Parenthood in the continuing resolution spending bill, which cuts $38 billion for the remaining six months of the fiscal year 2011."

"The Black bill is a critical part of the agreement forged by Speaker John Boehner, and will guarantee a debate in the U.S. Senate over federal funding for Planned Parenthood and any of its affiliates. If the Black bill passes both the House and the Senate, it will be added to the full CR and sent to the president for his signature."

TN: bill to close loopholes for tax $$ for PP

Urge Senate Welfare and Health
Committee to Close Loopholes:
No More Tax Dollars for Planned Parenthood!
In 2009 members of the Tennessee Legislature voted overwhelmingly to remove longtime preferential treatment in state law for abortion promoter Planned Parenthood.  Additionally, legislators voted to give first priority to local public health departments in the distribution of federal family planning funds rather than private organizations such as Planned Parenthood.

Sadly, Planned Parenthood and their allies in large metropolitan health departments have conspired to thwart the will of Tennessee's Legislature and citizens.  In order to continue funneling tax dollars to Planned Parenthood affiliates in Knoxville, Memphis and Nashville, health departments in Memphis and Nashville have refused to request or accept the full disbursements available to their communities.  As a result, pro-abortion officials within Tennessee's state Health Department have been only too happy to continue distributing your tax dollars to Planned Parenthood in order to 'guarantee' the availability of family planning services in 'underserved' communities.

Last year more than 1 million tax dollars were awarded to Planned Parenthood affiliates in Tennessee---despite the law passed in 2009--- and the Tennessee Department of Health is requesting continued funding for Planned Parenthood's anti-life programs once again in this year's budget.

Pro-life state Senator Stacey Campfield (R-Knoxville) is prepared to offer an amendment to close these funding loopholes during Wednesday's meeting of the Senate Welfare, Health and Human Resources Committee.  Senator Campfield's amendment will seek to further clarify for the health departments that tax dollars for the purposes of family planning programs may only be distributed by the Tennessee Department of Health to state, county or municipal health agencies.

Your help is urgently needed!

Please immediately contact the following members of the Senate General Welfare, Health and Human Resources Committee.  Urge them to support Tennessee Right to Life and Senator Campfield's amendment to close loopholes which continue to allow funding to Planned Parenthood in Tennessee.  The committee is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. (CDT) in Room 12 of Legislative Plaza.

TN: Black Introduces Bill to Defund Planned Parenthood in Continuing Resolution

Apr 12, 2011 Issues: Abortion
Washington, D.C. —Today, U.S. Representative Diane Black (R-TN), introduced her first piece of legislation, HConRes36, which would defund Planned Parenthood in the Continuing Resolution spending bill which cuts $38 billion for the remaining six months of the Fiscal Year 2011.
“Throughout my career in Tennessee, I was known as a pro-life legislator and I am proud that my first bill as a Member of Congress is to defund Planned Parenthood and its affiliates,” said Congressman Black.  “As a nurse for over 40 years, I spent my career protecting life. Now as a Member of Congress, I will continue to fight for the rights of the unborn through legislation like this; ensuringno federal funds are used for the promotion or performance of abortions.”
The Black bill to Defund Planned Parenthood will be brought up for an up or down vote Thursday on the House Floor, followed by a vote on the CR spending bill.  The Black bill is a critical part of the agreement forged by Speaker John Boehner, and will guarantee a debate in the U.S. Senate over federal funding for Planned Parenthood and any of its affiliates.  If the Black bill passes both the House and the Senate, it will be added to the full CR and sent to the president for his signature.
“There is an urgent need to stop taxpayer dollars from funding abortions,” said Black.  “The Republican Majority in the House has already made clear our commitment to ending funding for Planned Parenthood, but the Senate has ducked this important discussion for too long.  It’s time for Senators to debate this in the open, as the House did during H.R. 1, and finally take the vote to end taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.”
Conservative estimates indicate that Planned Parenthood and its affiliates receive $363 million of its nearly $1 billion budget in taxpayer funds. While the national abortion rate continues to decline, the number of abortions provided by Planned Parenthood continues to climb. According to Planned Parenthood’s March 2011 year-end report for its 2009 fiscal year, Planned Parenthood served three million clients, of whom 332,278 received abortions contrasted with only 977 adoption referrals and 7,021 prenatal care clients. Since 1977 (the first year for which data is available), Planned Parenthood has conducted 5,493,960 abortions. Finally, new evidence has shown that Planned Parenthood employees are also willing to cover up sex trafficking.
Black has a long history as a pro-life legislator, dating back to her time in the Tennessee General Assembly.  As a member of the State Senate, Black worked to deny funding to Planned Parenthood in Tennessee.  While serving as a Member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, Black was named Tennessee Right to Life Legislator of the Year in 2004.

She pleaded with PP to help her find an adoptive home for her baby but was told to have an abortion.

You cannot dispute personal testimonies such as this one....
"Rebecca Cervera lives in McAllen, Texas, the Rio Grande Valley.
She’s a mother of four boys, ages 5 to 20, a musician, and a businesswoman.  She’s leading the fight in South Texas against drug dealers, human traffickers, and corrupt politicians.  Rebecca is considering a run for the US House in 2012."

"But when I sought help to from Planned Parenthood others, they advised me to abort. I remember literally pleading for help in finding an adoption situation but was told I should have an abortion.
With no family, place to live, or help of any kind, it would have been an “easy” choice, and I understand why women in crisis choose to abort. Abortion is cheap, quick, easy, and “painless.”
Planned Parenthood also owns 28% of the abortion market, and last year abortions alone provided earned $137,389,500 of their total income of $374,700,000.  That accounts for nearly 37% of Planned Parenthood’s health center income.  What is it that entitles such a wealthy enterprise to receive taxpayer funding?  That’s a question without an answer.
The BILLIONS of dollars awarded to PP through Title X may not be used directly to pay for these abortions.  Yet the grim reality is that they’re being used to subsidize an organization that practices abortion en masse—and benefits richly from it.

Say it loud to all: Top Reasons to Defund PP now!

This comes via SBA List:
1. President Obama and Senate Democrats are willing to shut down the federal government to ensure tax dollars keep flowing to one of their biggest political allies. During his run for president, Planned Parenthood Action Fund endorsed Obama, marking only the second time in their history that they endorsed in a presidential election.[i] They poured money into his campaign and churned out volunteers. Imagine the reaction if a Republican president was willing to shutdown the government in order to prevent a single organization from sharing one penny in the belt-tightening all Americans are facing.
2.  Planned Parenthood is an independently wealthy entity. According to its latest annual report, it has nearly one billion dollars in net assets.[ii] Data shows that over the last nine years, Planned Parenthood has taken in over $500 million in profits.[iii]
3. Planned Parenthood is America’s largest abortion provider. One out of every four abortions in the U.S. is performed in a Planned Parenthood facility. Data shows that since 1970, Planned Parenthood has performed at least 5.3 million abortions. In 2009 alone, Planned Parenthood performed a record 332,278 abortions.[iv]
4. Planned Parenthood’s business model is centered on abortion. Former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson has written that she was given an “abortion quota” and was even told by her superiors to double the number of abortions in order to bring in more revenue.[v] Abortion patients constitute 12 percent of Planned Parenthood clients — 332,000 of 3 million unduplicated clients in its most current report. 37 percent of all Planned Parenthood clinic income revenue is from abortion procedures, according to conservative estimates. Planned Parenthood has issued a directive instructing that all affiliates must have at least one clinic that performs abortion by 2013.[vi]
5. More taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood equals more abortions, fewer adoption referrals.  Claims that taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood results in fewer abortions are false. From 2000 to 2009, Planned Parenthood saw an 80 percent increase in taxpayer funding, receiving $202 million in 2000 and $363 million in 2009. In 2000, Planned Parenthood performed 197,070 abortions while making 2,486 adoption referrals. In 2009, they performed 332,278 abortions and made just 977 adoption referrals. That means an 80 percent increase in taxpayer funding resulted in a 69 percent increase in the number of abortions and a 61 percent decrease in the number of adoption referrals.[vii]
6.  Planned Parenthood is not safe for women and young girls. Recent undercover footage released by Lila Rose’s Live Action shows Planned Parenthood employees in several states willing to aid and abet in acknowledged human sex trafficking of girls as young as 14.[viii] The undercover footage resulted in the firing of Amy Woodruff, manager of the Central New Jersey Planned Parenthood clinic.[ix] It also caused Planned Parenthood to call for mandatory training sessions of thousands of its employees across the country on reporting requirements.[x
7.  Planned Parenthood opposes commonsense measures to protect women and underage girls. Presently, Planned Parenthood is fighting a bill in Illinois that would require its staff and volunteers to be mandatory reporters when they suspect the sexual abuse of minors. They’ve also consistently fought parental notification laws – all the way to the Supreme Court – which would simply inform a parent if their underage daughter is seeking an abortion. They’ve opposed state efforts to impose health and safety regulations for abortion facilities.[xi]
8.  Women have other options for seeking primary care, contraception, STI testing, and cancer screening. According to the Chiaroscuro Foundation, in addition to the tens of thousands of U.S. doctors and hospitals providing this care, there were 1,048 federally qualified health centers in the U.S. which provide women cancer screening,  contraception, and STI testing.[xii]
9.  Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms and is not a significant primary care provider to women. Despite claims made by Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards and members of the media, Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms. They are also not a significant primary care provider in general.  In recent reports, Planned Parenthood acknowledges that it provided primary care only to about 19,700 of its 3 million unduplicated clients. These services have been trending downward for years, from 21,247 in 2007 to 20,235 in 2008, to today’s 19,796.[xiii]
10.  Polling shows Americans don’t believe efforts to defund Planned Parenthood are extreme. A March 2011 poll conducted by The Hill, before Planned Parenthood became a critical issue in the budget debate, showed that Americans are virtually split in half over whether Planned Parenthood’s funding should be left alone or completely cut. Forty-six percent said it should be left alone; 42 percent said it should be completely cut. The poll has a 3 percent margin of error.[xiv] When asked specifically about taxpayer funding of abortion, polls consistently show a healthy majority of Americans, 60 to 70 percent, oppose their tax dollars funding abortion.[xv]
11. Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, was a strong believer in eugenics. Following is just a sampling of her documented beliefs. “In this matter, the example of the inferior classes, the fertility of the feeble-minded, the mentally defective, the poverty-stricken classes, should not be held up for emulation…”[xvi] Referring to immigrants and Catholics, she wrote: “[They’re] an unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.”[xvii] She also wrote, “The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”[xviii] Planned Parenthood is carrying on her legacy today, centering itself on population control efforts. In a recently filed tax return, Planned Parenthood stated as part of their mission statement that they are committed to “a U.S. population of stable size in an optimum environment.”[xix]
12. Planned Parenthood has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of hours of employee time in order to protect its government handout. Planned Parenthood has flooded the airwaves with TV commercials[xx] and radio ads[xxi] in order to protect its funding. Its employees – whose paychecks are subsidized by tax dollars — have participated in bus tours and rallies across the country.[xxii]

PP: Now has people saying they get treatment for anxiety, depression and digestive issues!!

Cuts to family-planning funds could affect 27,000 Montanans...(scare headline)

Billings Gazette.com runs puff piece propping up PP and solicits testimonials from clients?? Gosh along with mammograms (wink-not really) you can use them for digestive problems, anxiety and depression!! But if you go to the website and read closely they refer you to your PCP for treatment following any preliminary screening shows need for treatment. Then they say if you don't have insurance or cash you may qualify for the state funded Wonder if they set broken bones? All of these treatments can be obtained by the county health dept. and that is where most referrals are sent. As Abby Johnson said they want to increase foot traffic so that if you have an unplanned pregnancy, you will come for an abortion and that is the real profit center.
"Ashley Stevick said Planned Parenthood is unfairly targeted because of its abortion services. The organization has been the 26-year-old Bozeman woman's primary health care provider for 13 years. She has been treated for anxiety, depression and digestive issues in addition to receiving contraception. She turned to the organization when she was without insurance and continued even after she got an insurance plan."
Gosh, since she was 13 years old!

Lopez: 9 potential Republican candidates support defunding PP

Defunding Planned Parenthood is a 2012 issue:
Eight of the rumored 2012 Republican presidential contenders have now come out in favor of cutting the federal funding, which the anti-abortion rights group Susan B. Anthony List is highlighting in its ongoing effort to eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood.
The group is circulating new statements of support from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour to Capitol Hill staffers over the weekend as talks toward a budget deal continue.

Another four potential Republican hopefuls are already on the record supporting the funding cuts: former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (Ga.), former Sen. Rick Santorum (Pa.), Rep. Michele Bachmann (Minn.) and talk radio host Herman Cain.
UPDATE: Make that nine. Mitt Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom e-mails: “Mitt Romney supports the Pence amendment.”

Daily Kos advances outrageous and erroneous stories before appeal for $$ for PP

Three outrageous stories by Daily Kos  are followed by a request for donation to who else but Planned Parenthood !  Cherry picking facts, omitting some and emphasizing others  and drawing outrageous conclusions are apparent in this  account.

First story comes from Iowa.  A woman advanced in her pregnancy  presented at the ER after falling  down a flight of stairs .  The Daily Kos indicated she was light headed and accidentally fell. I researched other write ups of this story and in another account states:
"According to police reports, officers were called to the hospital's emergency room after Taylor told a nurse she intentionally fell because she wanted to get rid of her unborn child. She also reportedly told a doctor she did not want the baby"
Now falling intentionally down the stairs could cause harm or death to the woman and as well as the pre born child. If a medical professional thinks you may be suicidal, it is not uncommon for them to call law enforcement and confine you  for psychiatric evaluation. It is legal to mandate a psychiatric evaluation for someone who reported  suicidal actions, in fact to do less could be considered neglect.

Also, feticide( According to Iowa law, feticide occurs when "attempts to intentionally terminate a human pregnancy, with the knowledge and voluntary consent of the pregnant person, after the end of the second trimester of the pregnancy where death of the fetus does not result." ) Later, the charges were dropped when evidence from the  OB-GYN showed she was still in her second trimester (2.5 weeks away from her third trimester) and what is unsaid, is that the subsequent evaluation probably decided that she was not going to harm herself.

Did   the ER act properly when confronted with a woman who appeared advanced in her pregnancy who said she threw herself down the stairs on purpose?  Of course they did. Daily Kos makes the outrageous statement that she was incarcerated for considering abortion earlier in her pregnancy. They ignore the police reports which clearly state she told the ER personnel that the fall was intentional. The reports don't make the story they want to advance. They claim the " anti choice zealots" got her arrested for thinking of having an abortion."

In the second story, further investigation shows that the woman in question was 25 weeks pregnant, a heavy smoker and admitted to the hospital on what turned out to be false labor. Daily Kos advances the story saying she was at the dr.office and he wanted to admit her to the hospital for bed rest when she refused because she had two toddlers and a full time job.   They state she was admitted against her will and forced to undergo unwanted treatments but she miscarried anyway. Reports of the situation state otherwise.
"Circuit Judge John Cooper held an emergency hearing by telephone and ruled after taking testimony from Burton and Bures-Foresthoefel, but without obtaining a second medical opinion. The doctor said Burton's membranes had ruptured, that she was having early contractions and the fetus was in a breech position"
" Three days after the judge ordered her not to leave the hospital, Burton delivered a stillborn fetus by cesarean-section"
Not exactly stating the facts are they?  She was admitted to the hospital first and when she wanted to leave without the doctor's consent, he had the judge intervene. I note that the ACLU sued the state of Fl on her behalf and  lost.

The  third one is about a teen requesting a judicial bypass ion for abortion  in PA and being turned down . Now I know that the abortion industry is used to getting automatic approval in these cases and their own statement ( " ... bypass petitions are rarely denied"). They have their friendlies ready to do so but this judge actually had the audacity to exercise his judgment that she was not informed or mature enough to make this decision without parental involvement. Horrors, parents involved in the decision of a minor child!! They pounced upon his written opinion and point out one sentence that talked of her poor grammar. They try to imply she was denied her right to an abortion because she had  poor grammar.  Not true... but hey, we are advancing an agenda here and trying to raise $$ for the largest abortion provider.
Here is their final statement before the fund raising appeal for PP and link to donate to PP.
"...even if it means confining a woman to a hospital-bed against her will, jailing them for having thought of an abortion, or denying the choice to a teenager because of her grammar."

Unified Patriots: Planned Parenthood’s Mission Statement Exemplified

Cross Posted by Unified Patriots

Planned Parenthood’s Mission Statement Exemplified

With all this talk of defunding Planned Parenthood, they must be having a messaging problem – so thought I would help them out by showing their missionstatement in action:
- to provide comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings which preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual –  even if that means protecting the rights of apparent pimp and their child aged prostitutes!
- to advocate public policies which guarantee these rights and ensure access to such services – like our recommendation to vote no on House Bill 2093 in Illinois that would expand who would be required to report child sex abuse in organizations that provide reproductive health care.  If we have to report a child abuser, then he might get arrested and the steady stream of revenue from his victims disappears. We must stand against this kind of tyranny!
- to provide educational programs which enhance understanding of individual and societal implications of human sexuality  - have you seen our instructional glossary? You’ll discover important terms like the “Free Love Movement” and  you’ll learn how Freud understood all children have strong sexual urges.  If you aren’t into pornography, you may want to skip our glossary. It’ll make you blush. But please make sure to send a link to your impressionable daughter, OK?  Maybe our site forteens is more up your alley. We are arming children with vital information like “hooking up“. Your thirteen old daughter can find out what is considered cheating in a relationship. You won’t be surprised that we think cheating is whatever you think it is: “People have different opinions about what’s considered cheating, so it’s up to partners to decide what the “rules” are for their relationship.”
- to promote research and the advancement of technology in reproductive health care and encourage understanding of their inherent bioethical, behavioral, and social implications – except supporting ultrasound technology. The implication of that kind of technology is clear: ~90% of women who see their baby on an ultrasound choose life. And there goes our abortion money!  What’s that you say? Oh, we  said abortions only account for 3% of our services, so why do we care? Hmmm….
Now, isn’t it time we defund Planned Parenthood?

And Again....more in VA....does PP just see $$ signs instead of victims of child abuse???

Live Action releases three more VA PP clinics videos  showing a clear pattern to their outrageous behavior. Links to full videos given.  Overtime for PP friendly bloggers...They are running out of things to say. Does anyone stop seeing $$ and just see child abuse?? I suppose workers in the gutter industry just fail to see children after awhile as anything except disposable. How many videos do you need to see before you defund this organization??

Pattern Emerges: Three More Virginia Planned Parenthood Clinics Caught On Tape Willing to Aid and Abet Sexual Exploitation of Minors

Tuesday, February 1, 2011

Stanek: It is here...the undercover video we knew was coming...PP aides underage sex traffcking

Update again: Almost 3 hrs. after this broke via the pro life bloggers Metropolitan Medical Associates has pulled their site down.

Update: Read this piece posted at Big Journalism.com and Big Government.com.  TN is mentioned.

Jill Stanek.com reports...it is true that PP and their friendlies have been dreading this and trying to preempt the damage..just watch for the comments trying to say this is a cut and paste job. If so how does Lila Rose get the Planned Parenthood personnel  to actually say those things??  After reading, get busy and call for the immediate freeze of all Planned Parenthood funding. And I am so glad the first release was in the state of New Jersey where action oriented gov. Chris Christie is in charge.

This video is a must see, disgusting beyond words. Imagine that this nurse is the director!!!

Breaking, Video: Planned Parenthood caught aiding and abetting underage sex trafficking

The Associated Press reported last week that after several Planned Parenthoods around the country realized they had been stung again by Lila Rose and LiveAction.org sometime between January 11-15, CEO Cecile Richards tried to mitigate pending damage by belatedly reporting the sex trafficking poser to the DOJ and alerting the press first.
Well, the first horrific video of Live Action’s investigation has just been made public, and PP’s vast but pathetic PR machine will not be able to surmount this one.
The sting:
Joe” is the sex trafficking pimp and “Gia” is his bottom girl. They manage several very young girls, ages 14 and 15, in their prostitution ring, some of whom are Asian illegals who don’t speak English.
In the video the clinic manager of PP Central New Jersey’s Perth Amboy mill, LPN Amy Woodruff, tells “Joe” and “Gia” how to get abortions, STD treatment, and contraceptives for their brothel of adolescents as young as 14, some here illegally.
Woodruff coaches the pair on how to have the younger girls lie about their age. She gives them the name of a mill that is apparently schlockier than hers, Metropolitan Medical Associates, that will do abortions with fewer questions asked.
The most awful part of the video, IMO, is Woodruff’s cavalier business advice when asked what can the girls do during the 2 weeks after their abortion when they can’t have sex?
Woodruff: Yeah, um, waist up.
Pimp: Waist up?
Woodruff: Waist up, or just be that extra action walking by. Because then they’re at more risk for infection, and you don’t want to do that….
“Waist up”? That line will live in infamy.
There is so much more scandal in the video. Here it is…
Here’s Live Action’s post.
Laws broken or manipulated:
1. Sexual Abuse Cover up
2. Aiding and abetting statutory rape
3. Aiding and abetting minor prositution
4. Aiding and abetting human trafficking
5. RICO/conspiracy/racketeering
The kicker? According to Live Action’s statement:
The video airs just days after PP’s leadership suspected the sting operation and sought an FBI probe of Live Action in order to deter the release of the exposé. Live Action is sending full footage to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, NJ Attorney General Paula Dow, officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and other law enforcement officials, requesting federal and state investigations into PP’s sexual abuse and sex trafficking cover up.
Fabulous. And maybe the new pro-life led Congress will finally investigate PP.

Non disclosure and regret on trial.......

What a sad, sad story about a beautiful, young singer who is now on trial for not disclosing her HIV positive status to her lovers. This is tragic on so many levels.  I recently complimented a pastor who addressed the issue of  sex outside of marriage in his weekly newsletter. This is something no one talks about  even in church because, to be honest they think it is a lost cause, and also here we have the "politically correct"  Planned Parenthood  (who BTW get our tax money to do this) suggest that it is your choice to divulge your sexual status (as in terms of diseases including your  HIV status to your partner) From their
Healthy, Happy and Hot....
The brochure tells the kids that their rights are violated when governments require them to tell their HIV status to their sex partners.
This is criminal. And they seek to get at our children at a younger and younger age.  And this pop singer is now experiencing the results of being politically correct.

Secular Pro Life does an excellent job of tying this all together here.

VA: Planned Parenthood objects to crosses on church property. What next??

Well this is abortion provider appreciation day but this Planned Parenthood  president is  busy complaining about a church posting small crosses on their own property. The don't want the crosses to symbolize killing as in abortion and suggest that displaying the crosses is mean spirited. What nerve! The pastor sees the crosses as redemption  and says we must speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and he is not going to be cowered by the criticism....good for him. Churches are guilty of being silent too long. We need more pastors like him.

Church's crosses cause controversy...(with who....those who profit from abortion that's who)

Members see them as a message of redemption and peace for women in the area who have had an abortion.

Michael Grooms, senior pastor at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, stands next to the largest of 729 crosses that the church has erected on land overlooking U.S. 460 east of Roanoke. The crosses recognize the 729 abortions performed in the area in 2008.

The church's leader sees the crosses as a symbol of redemption. And the local Planned Parenthood administrator sees them as a political statement.
What's clear is this: There were 729 abortions during 2008 in the areas between Alleghany and Roanoke counties, and members of Rainbow Forest Baptist Church commemorated them by staking the same number of crosses on a grassy hill the church owns beside U.S. 460 near Bonsack.
It's an expression in an emotionally contentious issue, and it's an example of how some faith groups vocalize their convictions.
"Someone needs to speak up for those who can't speak up for themselves," the Rev. Mike Grooms said. "I'm not going to not do it because it's not the socially accepted thing to do."
Members of Rainbow Forest, where about 600 congregants meet weekly, put down the 3-foot crosses in mid-January, forming the shape of a large cross on the hill. They wanted it to be a memorial and a message of redemption and peace for each woman who had an abortion, Grooms said.
"We're all sinners. I'm not any better than a woman who has committed an abortion," Grooms said. "I have also sinned."
But David Nova, the vice president for Planned Parenthood in Roanoke, said that to him the 729 crosses represent a political message, not one of redemption.
"The display is a mock cemetery," he said. "It likens abortions to killing. In many respects, it is mean-spirited and not redemptive."
