HHS Sebelius now not worried about privacy of medical records....

Privacy or public record.  Is Kathleen Sebelius' idea of privacy evolving?? HHS secretary and former governor of KS, Kathleen Sebelius argues both sides of this issue depending on her ideology and advocacy.

As Governor of KS  she ferociously defended the privacy of any and all records dealing with Planned Parenthood and the late George Tiller,  the infamous late term abortionist. She stonewalled the investigation  into potential criminal charges being investigated by then AG, Phill Kline. due to privacy rights.  Even though they requested records that had any identifying information removed, she was staunch in crying PRIVACY FIRST....NO DEAL.

Now as HHS Secretary she is saying that it is fine for Obamacare's  data base to have all medical conditions of Americans as long as they do not divulge your identity. This component is essential to the working of Obamacare.
Sebelius’s HHS has proposed having states collect the “raw claims data” of all Americans to determine “individual risk scores,” which can then be used to allocate funds accordingly.
Sebelius all of a sudden is not concerned about anyone tying a particular  medical condition to a particular person as she assures that the data is all they are interested in and your confidentiality is safe with us.

But when it comes to KS investigating the plight of underage girls receiving abortions and assuring that they are not victims of unreported rape, her advocacy was clear.

Sebelius had reciprocal ties to abortion providers throughout her political career in Kansas. For instance, on May 15, 2007, Sebelius celebrated her birthday at a Planned Parenthood event that raised over $55,000 for the abortion provider. And Tiller donated more than $35,000 to her, according to the Associated Press, though other estimates run much higher than that.
The Washington Examiner offered HHS the opportunity to respond to the more detailed criticisms of the proposed rule and Sebelius’s past record on privacy, but HHS spokeswoman Erin Shields, after initially offering to answer follow-up questions, declined to respond.
And last Friday, news broke that in 2005, the Sebelius administration in Kansas destroyed key records sought by prosecutors in the criminal prosecution of Planned Parenthood.
According to the Kansas City Star, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment is calling it a “routine” destruction of state documents that was not deliberate.
Her crisp demeanor may be crumbling under this apparent hypocrisy.

Something is wrong in KS!

Jill Stanek has been covering the Phill Kline witch hunt in KS. Here is her wrap up.
  • In all, Kline was on the stand 23 hours. The prosecution was given 7-1/2 days to make its case; Kline was given 1/2 day.
  • Both he and the Supremes did so to a bizarre extent, almost as if some of them had a personal stake, something to hide. Or perhaps they were being blackmailed, or paid off. This is all speculation, obviously. But mark my words there’s something more to all this than extreme pro-abortion advocacy. And someday it will all come out.

Instead of trust women .....it should be thank heaven for little girls !!!

Talk about a witch hunt.....you only have to report statutory rape if there harm to the child and the treating dr. can use his/her discretion to determine if harm to the child exists....Kline: what?? child has been raped, gets pregnant and has an abortion and you are deciding whether or not there has been harm?

Of 166 known cases of underage rape and PP reported 1 and Tiller reported 1. So in all the other cases including a 10 year old no "harm" to the girl has been reported. PP and the late Tiller hid behind the privacy argument between dr. and patient. Let the patients come!!! Bring them in....age is no barrier....bring cash please!! Trust Women indeed.....it should be thank heaven for little girls.....

Phill Kline: Internal report shows it was a witch hunt all along....

This is what you get when you mess with Planned Parenthood and  the abortion industry. You get a witch hunt. This shocking article lays it all out.
"The state's disciplinary board for lawyers concealed for 20 months an internal investigative report concluding no probable cause existed to justify ethics complaints against former Attorney General Phill Kline tied to his criminal inquiries into abortion clinics."
"...the document would have been valuable during his unsuccessful August 2008 election campaign for Johnson County district attorney and would have contributed over ensuing years to countering claims he overstepped ethical boundaries as a prosecutor. "
political vendetta than of any real concern about defective professional ethics."
He remains convinced Planned Parenthood committed felonies to cover up misdemeanor record-keeping shortcomings and believes Tiller authorized illegal late-term abortions and inadequately reported medical justification for the procedure.
In addition, Kline insists a campaign to track down perpetrators of child sex offenders, based on records of about 600 abortions performed on 14- or 15-year-old girls, was undermined by political maneuvering of Democratic Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and Democratic Attorney General Paul Morrison.

Kline: being made an example of....don't touch that sacred cow!!

NRO article lays out the case against Kline...a true witch hunt and his crime is that he dares to touch the sacred cow of Sebelius.

"Today in Topeka, Kansas, a man goes on trial for insisting Planned Parenthood be held accountable for what it claims to be about: women’s health care and safety.

And while pro-life Republican Sam Brownback may now be governor, Kline will not be getting a warm reception by the judicial branch today. The Kansas judiciary-appointment process is the antithesis of transparency: Judges are appointed by the governor, without confirmation, effectively for life. And the long-standing inquisition against Kline is led by a (former Democratic governor) Kathleen Sebelius-appointed former lawyer for the National Women’s Law Center, known for her activist-like rants against him."
Friday’s short-term defunding vote and the coverage of the most recent Live Action investigations suggest that, after decades of pro-life attempts to pull the veil away from Planned Parenthood, a profit-making institution that benefits from taxpayer money and frequently bipartisan support, it may finally be being gradually exposed for its embarrassingly dangerous, lackadaisical attitude toward sexual crimes against minors. Thank you, Phill Kline!

Suing to attempt to silence: latest tactic of the abortion industry....will it work??

If we can't stop them .... sue them. That is the all  to familiar game plan that the abortion industry  is well known for.  They  are truly running scared. The gravy train is about to be derailed....so they must destroy by  any means possible. Now the latest tactic is to sue to discourage others from taking bold stands....will it work or serve to rally more??

Jill Stanek is keeping us up to date on the attempts to silence Phill Kline of KS....I heard Phill speak and he would be hard to silence. He has  truth on his side and is full of passion. They may have messed with the wrong guy here. Alas, now a Catholic priest in Canada who is suing LifeSiteNews for having the audacity of writing about his public comments that portray him as pro choice.  Who is backing  him??
