What a horrific story about a woman so obsessed with having a baby that she killed a pregnant friend and took the almost full term baby. I notice that the politically correct story keeps saying fetus. But the fetus which happens to be a boy is being held at a local hospital.

Abortion supporters rail at informed consent laws with twisted logic
It is tough to be an abortion supporter when the medical evidence does not support you. Reality Check rails against a MI piece of proposed legislation on informed consent prior to abortion. She feels it is outrageous with logic that condemns and then changes the subject to non abortion related examples.
Abortion is irreversible. That is a sad fact. The baby cannot be resurrected. Many post abortive men and women bemoan that sad fact. So is childbirth you say? Well, I am aware of people who have given birth and decided to make an adoption plan for that child later in life. I have encountered many people who hold a fetal model representing the same age of the child they aborted and cry saying they told me it was nothing but a blob of cells or tissue.
"Where are the laws mandating that women be told they might experience depression and a diminished sex-drive while caring for a newborn?" Wow, that is a strong argument!! Postpartum depression is not permanent....
"Women should, of course, be given straightforward and accurate information about the nature of the procedure that will be performed, as well as necessary information about any possible complications and warning signs of those complications during recovery—the same that would be expected for any medical procedure, for anyone. But—and this feels like stating the obvious—the precise measurements and features of a fetus are simply not part of the information required to make an educated choice about abortion, nor do they have any bearing whatsoever on the safety of the procedure."
(OH Really??? The women have no need to have medically accurate information about the development of the life in their womb that they are contracting with the abortionist to kill??)
It is tough these days to support abortion with all the medical evidence in front of you. But they try!!

Accepting Abundance: "Life" at Planned Parenthood

We went to
pray the Rosary led by Bishop McManus in Worcester, and the experience was
rather strange. The day before vandals had broken a window at the non-profit
crisis pregnancy center across the street and spray painted an arson warning "fire
next time" beside an anarchy sign on the building. The crowd of people
praying, however, was the epitome of peace and joy amidst what should have felt
tense. It was a strange and stark contrast, a bright contrast.
There were students standing in rows dressed sharply in uniform praying out loud along with the bishop and then again with another priest. There were nuns smiling. There were children playing with a dog. There were babies. There were bright balloons with the word "LIFE." There were people of all ages, praying very, very peacefully. And when they weren't praying they were cheerfully but quietly enjoying the company of each other, in spite of the random hateful jeer from observers.
I expected sadness because abortion is a sad evil, but in spite of the sadness of the act we protest with our mouth and with our heart, there was instead a surreal joy all around. Even the sun was shining brightly. Like I said, strange. With such a formidable and peaceful presence of people praying together for grace and mercy, maybe the the euphoria existed because no one was killed inside Planned Parenthood during that heavenly time. Maybe for a little while there was only LIFE at Planned Parenthood. God have mercy on us.

Oddly Planned
Parenthood called the police because the bishop and the priest used a microphone
to pray and some children ran into the forbidden zone in front of the
building...where they kill children. They don't like children at Planned
Parenthood.

Reporter apologizes for having to report on issues of women's health and abortion clinic regulations...calls lawmakers fixated!!
This is the line that caught my eye in a short piece about IL state legislature falling three votes short in requiring abortion clinics meet the same regulations as other facilities that perform outpatient procedures. The Republican sponsor pulled the bill when it was apparent it would fall short of the required number.
She stated that this was to ensure women's health but of course the opposition who cry the loudest about women's health did not want anything to interfere with the abortion industry's right to make a buck even if some health issues are glossed over. The reporter, Eric Zorn, gave a brief report of this and ended with the apology seen above.
Wow, sorry to waste your time on the issue of women's health Zorn and fellow readers. Louise Slaughter shrieked that Republicans just want to kill women...but in Chicago the health and welfare of women seeking abortions is of no concern apparently. You are safer getting your nails done than having abortions. My beautician has surprise drop in visit to make sure that she is in compliance but hands off the abortionist. Don't want to burden them with unnecessary regulations. Indeed!

Lens Crafters wants out of this fight...tarnishes their brand
Lens Crafters wants out of this fight....they don't want either PP or Tea Partiers to use their brand in the issue of Planned Parenthood.
"The controversial remarks were made in Iowa on Monday when Bachmann argued that Planned Parenthood should be defunded, suggesting it was a one-stop shopping center for any woman wanting an abortion.I once asked a staffer if abortion was a method of family planning and they readily acknowledged it as a form of family planning.
"The executive director of Planned Parenthood in Illinois said they want to become the LensCrafters of big abortion in Illinois," said Bachmann.
As CNN points out, in 2008 Planned Parenthood Illinois CEO Steve Trombley said "I like to think of Planned Parenthood as the LensCrafters of family planning," which encompasses a variety of health care services - not just abortion."
Rep. Black (TN) moves to halt Planned Parenthood funding...
WASHINGTON — "U.S. Rep. Diane Black, R-Gallatin, introduced her first piece of legislation Tuesday, HConRes36, which would defund Planned Parenthood in the continuing resolution spending bill, which cuts $38 billion for the remaining six months of the fiscal year 2011."
"The Black bill is a critical part of the agreement forged by Speaker John Boehner, and will guarantee a debate in the U.S. Senate over federal funding for Planned Parenthood and any of its affiliates. If the Black bill passes both the House and the Senate, it will be added to the full CR and sent to the president for his signature."
Obama cuts $$ to Community Health Centers providing actual care but refuses to touch PP
Daily Caller calls out Obama on the duplicity of throwing Community Health Centers under the bus to save the sacred cow of Planned Parenthood.
"The American Principles Project (APP) Wednesday criticized the Obama administration for allowing the elimination of $600 million for Community Health Centers while protecting funding for Planned Parenthood as part of last week’s budget deal agreed to by Congress and the White House.
Community Health Centers, which do not perform abortions, provide health services to the needy — including mammograms and pre- and post-natal care."
