AU: Miscarried baby thrown out as medical waste....

 An Australian couple are considering legal action against the hospital and the personnel who discarded their miscarried baby at 17 weeks gestation. Following the miscarriage, the "fetus" was tested to see if  they could cause. When they contacted the hospital about retrieving their baby for burial they were shocked  to be told.....

"... by a nurse at Swan District Hospital that "it's not a baby, it's just a fetus" and that it had "probably been thrown out with the medical waste."

"There was no apology from hospital staff, no explanation as to why this couple's baby was thrown out in the waste, and no offer of counseling whatsoever."

Another couple in the US suffered the loss of their child at 22 weeks gestation and had the opportunity to have a funeral service and bury their child named Kaylee Hope.

As we all know fetus is a Latin word for offspring or young one. Ultrasound is of offspring at 17 weeks gestation. Shame on the hospital personnel.
