Obama silence on Kermit Gosnell is telling....
Cross Posted at Jill Stanek.com
by Kelli

… [W]hen it comes to commenting on domestic scandals, President Obama will never live down his cowardly refusal to speak out against Kermit Gosnell. Here was a man who, for thirty years, murdered black infants in his Philadelphia abortion clinic, while his activities were allowed to continue because of the complacency and tacit approval of local, state, and federal agencies. Here was a man who segregated his waiting room by race, and gave better, safer treatment to white patients. Here was a man involved in a murderous scandal that implicated — and still implicates — every level of political authority, and resulted in hundreds of born infants being decapitated, stabbed, and drowned in toilets.
What did Obama say about it?…
“I can’t comment.”…
Forget everything else the man has done. Forget everything else he’s said. All you need to know about Barack Obama the man, and Barack Obama the President, can be summed up by the fact that he immediately and forcefully commented when a black Harvard professor was arrested by a white cop; he immediately and forcefully commented when a black teenager was killed by a Hispanic neighborhood watchman; and he immediately and forcefully commented when a white NBA owner allegedly made some insulting comments about black people — but when an abortionist was allowed to murder black infants for thirty years in the middle of an American city, he said nothing.
In all three of the cases where he did comment, the facts weren’t yet fully known, and the incident had no relevance outside of the area where it occurred. In Gosnell’s case, the facts were established, and the incident encompassed a wide range of local, state, and federal authorities. Yet on the first three he pounced, while on the last case he ran for the hills.
That’s all you need to know about Barack Obama.

Funding site refuses to allow documentary based on facts about Kermit Gosnell...past documentaries about serial killer fair game
Even though this documentary is going to be taken from actual sworn testimony, Hollywood and political powers do not want the story told. They have resorted to refusing to allow these film makers to use their crowdfunding website. The certainly have done films about other murders but Gosnell is off limits. Why do I think the Planned Parenthood money has something to do with it.
"Phelim McAleer and his wife and creative partner, Ann McElhinney, have joined with Magdalena Segieda to make a move about Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia late-term abortion doctor who was recently convicted of multiple murders and 21 illegal abortions, including the horrific killings of many babies as they were being delivered. The trio has previously collaborated to produce the documentary FrackNation.
But their plans to raise in excess of $2 million via the crowdfunding website Kickstarter was derailed recently when the site's operators objected to the description of the project and raised concerns about the political machinations behind it.
"There have been four movies about Ted Bundy, five about the Zodiac killer, three about John Wayne Gacy, and the Lifetime network has already made and broadcast a film about Jodie Arias -- who killed one person. Kermit Gosnell killed more than them all put together," McAleer said."Rather than go to Hollywood for financing -- something the trio believes is a lost cause -- they have now turned to Indiegogo, a crowdfunding rival to Kickstarter."

Powers article calls out Pelosi for lying and playing the Catholic card while supporting late term abortions....you go girl
” When you are pulling the
Catholic card to defend your support of unrestricted late-term abortion, you’ve
officially gone off the rails."
Kirsten Powers is a convert to the pro life movement. She is not all the way there but I believe time will accomplish this. She writes about being a recent convert to Christianity as well. Love her commentary and she has entree as a Democratic strategist. She was most helpful in the Gosnell trial shaming the MSM into covering it.
On Abortion, Wendy Davis Doesn’t Know What She’s Talking About
by Kirsten Powers Cross Posted from Daily Beast
The Texas crusader let it slip this week that she is badly misinformed on the late-term abortion ban she crusaded against. And she’s not the only misinformed Democratic woman, writes Kirsten Powers.·
Wendy Davis says the darndest things. The Democratic star du jour was asked this week to explain the difference between the late-term abortions she fought to keep legal in Texas and the illegal killings by Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell. “I don’t know what happened in the Gosnell case,” she told the Weekly Standard’s John McCormack, who cornered her after her National Press Club speech on Monday. This is incredible. After all, Davis is the state senator who held an 11-hour filibuster to fight legislation drafted in response to the abuses at Gosnell’s clinic. A passing knowledge of the case seems like basic due diligence. She went on: “But I do know that [Gosnell] happened in an ambulatory surgical center. And in Texas changing our clinics to that standard obviously isn’t going to make a difference.” It takes real skill to pack so many falsehoods into so few words.According to the Gosnell grand jury report (PDF), “The abhorrent conditions and practices inside Gosnell’s clinic [were] directly attributable to the Pennsylvania Health Department’s refusal to treat abortion clinics as ambulatory surgical facilities.” In December 2011, the governor of Pennsylvania signed a law inspired by the Gosnell tragedy requiring exactly that. This legislation was opposed by the pro-abortion rights forces in Pennsylvania, but had the full-throated support of Democratic state Rep. Margo Davidson, whose 22-year-old cousin died from a botched abortion at Gosnell’s clinic. Davidson rejected the claims that abortion clinics didn’t need additional regulation and oversight to ensure safety. Three former Planned Parenthood employees who have acted as whistleblowers in Delaware also have rejected this claim. They have testified twice before the Delaware legislature to call for stricter regulations of clinics to protect women after witnessing horrors one compared to Gosnell’s clinic. Wendy Davis should call them. At one point in his interview, McCormack asked Davis what she made of the fact a majority of women support late-term abortion bans. Davis told him, “I…think that a lot of people don’t really understand the landscape of what’s happening in that arena today and what an incredibly small percentage of procedures take place there.”Actually, the people who “don’t really understand” the issue are the Democratic ladies crusading against laws the majority of the country supports.
Despite frequently mocking anti-abortion activists as anti-science know-nothings, abortion rights absolutists are the ones who play fast and loose with the facts of abortion. Because they are so rarely asked to defend their positions, Davis and her ilk apparently don’t feel the need to be informed. Follow-up questions to their strange and often empirically false statements are almost nonexistent, while offensive or misinformed comments from GOP back benchers are greeted with full-scale media hysteria.
John McCormack has been the dogged fly in the ointment here. On a noble quest to get a response to an eminently reasonable question, he has yet to get a straight answer. In June, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi convened a press conference to condemn a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks. McCormack asked her essentially the same question he asked Davis: “What is the moral difference between what Dr. Gosnell did to a baby born alive at 23 weeks and aborting her moments before birth? Pelosi answered, “You’re probably enjoying that question a lot, I can see you savoring it.” This insulting nonsense inexplicably elicited laughter from some of the assembled reporters.
Pelosi then told an outright lie: “[The 20-week ban] would make it a federal law that there would be no abortion in our country.” No reporter questioned this absurdity, even though they’ve heard pro-abortion rights leaders assert a thousand times that “only” 1.5 percent of abortions occur after 20 weeks. (For those who care, that’s “only” 18,000 late-term abortions each year.) Pelosi then expressed outrage at the line of questioning, raised the fact she had five children in six years, and snapped, “As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this.” When you are pulling the Catholic card to defend your support of unrestricted late-term abortion, you’ve officially gone off the rails.
In May this year, former abortion doctor Dr. Anthony Levantino described late-term abortion in congressional testimony before a House subcommittee debating the 20-week abortion ban Pelosi and most Democrats opposed. It is similar to the one Davisopposed in Texas. Levantino told the committee: “The toughest part….is extracting the baby’s head. [Y]ou will know you have it right when you crush down on the clamp and see white gelatinous material coming through the cervix. That was the baby’s brains. You can then extract the skull pieces. Many times a little face will come out and stare back at you.
”Nothing to “savor” there.

NARAL sees illegalities at Gosnell clinic but did not report. Should be held criminally negligent for this failure
Read this article and tell me why NARAL is not criminally negligent when they saw violations and failed to report them. How many deaths could they have prevented? The authorities in PA who refused to follow up on complaints starting from pro choice Gov. Tom Ridge should be liable as well. Amazing that inspections stopped once a pro choice gov replaced a pro life one.But NARAL has no reason to be proud of themselves here.
"This nightmare facility had not been inspected in 17 years – other than by someone from the National Abortion Federation, whom he actually invited there. For whatever reason, Gosnell applied for NAF membership two days after the death of the 41-year-old Nepalese woman, Karnamaya Mongar. Even on a day when the place had been scrubbed and spiffed up for the visit, the NAF investigator found it disgusting and rejected Gosnell's application for membership. But despite noting many outright illegalities, including a padlocked emergency exit in a part of the clinic where women were left alone overnight, the grand jury report notes that the NAF inspector did not report any of these violations to authorities:"

Abortion Witness:killing the baby inside the womb is birth control and outside the womb is population control....
Abortion Witness is so outrageous that I almost suspect it is not real. The profile says she is Jeanne from IL who s has a PhD. in Feminist Theory and worked for 12 yrs. in an abortion clinic and is now an Educator.
She starts off her post "Talking about babies...saying the things we can't say... discussing a former patient in the abortion clinic expressing guilt for killing her baby. This leads to a discussion about how abortion supporters should learn to discuss this issue ncluding stories about Kermit Gosnell the late term abortionist in PA who killed babies who survived the abortion.

This leads to a discussion about how abortion supporters should learn to discuss this issue ncluding stories about Kermit Gosnell the late term abortionist in PA who killed babies who survived the abortion.
"And what about death and abortion and the babies allegedly born-then-killed in Gosnell’s clinic? Suddenly the question of the mother’s decision about her pregnancy becomes more complex because the baby is no longer in her body. In other words, while she is pregnant, her decision to have an abortion is like any other woman’s. How does this change when the unborn baby is no longer unborn—no longer inside her body?
I’ve talked with two wise people about this question. One said to me, “when the baby is inside the mother’s body, its death is birth control; after it is outside the woman’s body, its death is something else—maybe population control.” He went on to suggest that we are, as a society, a lot more comfortable with birth control than with population control and that we might even consider the latter to be immoral."
