Huffington Post...It's a mystery, it's magic, it's divinity...fetal development

Very surprised to see this article in the liberal Huffington Post with this wonderful video and this quote.
 "it's a mystery, it's magic, it's divinity...."

NARAL feels VA teens need more protection from parents....

Abortion  promoting Huffington Post  posts an article about their surveillance of VA parental notification laws with regard to the judicial bypass. Everyone knows that abortion mills are all too happy to hand over the  phone numbers of friendly judges that are known to grant automatic bypasses with no questions asked. But NARAL is shocked by the  ignorance of the VA court system....
"In more than a dozen cases, the caller was transferred at least six separate times before speaking to someone who could answer the question..."
Well welcome to the bureaucracy....
"The red tape and lack of information in the courts are particularly troubling for pregnant teenagers who are victims of rape or have life-threatening health conditions. Those girls are supposed to be able to bypass the entire consent process in Virginia, but many are not informed of their legal options and cannot receive straight answers from court employees."
Are you kidding me....NARAL wants minors who have life threatening health conditions or are victims of rape not to inform their parents?? Sure!!!! A minor with a life threatening condition needs to have surgery without parental notification?! Seriously???

Rape victims need referral to the state social services for protection and counseling while the perpetrator needs to be facing prosecution! But not with the abortion industry....the perp pays for the abortion and the abuse continues all without the parents knowledge. Check out Live Action undercover videos to see them in action.
"The teen education effort, called "Pregnant Teen VA," includes resources on the judicial bypass, abortion, adoption, birth control and parenting."
Okay, this one makes me laugh out loud. NARAL wants a confidential judicial bypass so the teen can make adoption plans or plan to parent without the knowledge of their  parents. They really have nerve even suggesting that is their motive. Ya, a teen is going to go through pregnancy and give birth make an adoption plan or choose to parent and their parents will never know!

There is only one reason for NARAL to want a robust bypass notification procedure...to usher minors in for an abortion while still in a crisis mode and send them home to unsuspecting parents to deal with the emotional and physical after effects of a secret surgery. You see the abortion industry knows that if parents get involved it is harder to close the $$$ sale.

They have no shame....but we knew that all along. Wait, this isn't the end of it. I clicked on this so called "professional" site they set up  and saw their inaccurate and outdated adoption language of giving your child up etc.... and they warn against agencies that try to sway your decision. But alas.....their slip of the tongue turns into a slip of keyboard where they say you can abort anytime including after birth.
Yes, we know it is called Live birth abortions

Women may begin the process of abortion any time after they find out they are pregnant, including waiting until after birth. NO adoption is finalized until after the child is born, and you are free to change your mind any time before that. After signing, you may have a short time to change your mind but this will need to be discussed with a lawyer.

Had to get a screen shot of that one...... click to enlarge....

Huff Post: PP scared they are the target of undercover videos on something they admit happens.....

Wow, Live Action really has them scared. It is amazing how a youth led grassroots organization can get them shaking in their boots even before anything is released. Huffington Post runs an article on behalf of their friends at Planned Parenthood. They are fearful that they have been the target of sting operations on women seeking sex selection  abortions.  They are doing a preemptive strike against Live Action making all sorts of claims that are not substantiated or outright lies.  But why are they doing that? So what if sting operations uncover that sex selections are being done routinely at Planned Parenthood. Here they are admitting it.....
" While Planned Parenthood condemns seeking abortions on the basis of the gender of the fetus, Cooney said the provider is also "committed to providing high-quality, confidential, nonjudgmental care to all who come into our health centers." While Planned Parenthood staffers are extensively trained to answer unusual and difficult questions and to refer women to necessary counseling, none of its clinics will deny a woman an abortion based on her reasons for wanting one, except in those states that explicitly prohibit sex-selection abortion (Arizona, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Illinois).
So did they not just state that they will abort for any reason or no reason except where prohibited by law and I am sure they will find a way to have some "judicial bypass" around that as well. And if it rarely happens why did four states just outlaw it? So why would they fear undercover videos that show what they just admitted to.  Did they not just acknowledge ...if you have the $$, they will abort. Why waste their time attacking Live Action for uncovering this? Their spin machine is working overtime.

Australian tragedy: Pregnant with twins now childless by "choice"

Horrible story out of Melbourne....

A woman pregnant with twins at 32 weeks gestation got the news that one of her twins is diagnosed with a serious heart condition. She apparently was strongly encouraged to abort and went with the recommendation. How awful..... well it gets worse.

The doctor performing the abortion injects the wrong twin killing the healthy one. Picture this for a moment before we go any further. At this stage of pregnancy, the method of abortion is an intracardiac injection of medication into the fetal heart.

Now the doctor delivers the unhealthy baby by cesearean section and per the article from the UK version of the Huffington Post
"Tragically, the doctor's blunder meant that the woman had to undergo a three-hour emergency caesarean to deliver the sick foetus, where it was later terminated."

This would be a live birth abortion.  Now the article focuses on sympathy for the couple who were expecting twin boys and are now childless by "choice."

In case you are thinking this cannot happen here....I personally know a couple pregnant with twins when a well known high risk specialist in Nashville advised abortion on one of the twins diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. They refused. If  they had followed his recommendation, they would have aborted the healthy twin because his diagnosis was correct but he identified the smaller baby has the one with CP when it was the larger twin.  BTW, the CP twin boy is now in college....so glad they rejected abortion.

MI: 27K praying frightens Huffington Post

Huffington Post doesn't get it and they are afraid....this is the takeaway after reading their article bent on criticizing Lou Engle's The Call which held a rally in Detroit that attracted 27,000 people for a 24 hour prayer/fast.

They did such weird things....sang and prayed. They are to be feared. This is a ruse, according to the article. They really want to strip away black votes from the Democratic party and defeat  Obama and other state Dems. They are afraid, very afraid.

These weirdos did not talk about gay rights or do Muslim bashing but HP saw their true agenda....."not values but votes." You can hear the fear dripping from their words. After all how terrible that people would vote their values and get off the plantation that Planned Parenthood designed just for them. Now the words Republican or Democrat was never uttered but the writer is brighter than those 27k  in attendance. It was about Big God...Small Govt.  THEY MUST BE STOPPED.

"In the end, one can only feel sorrow for this fanciful movement that is based on pure fantasy. It exists to restore an idealized version of the 1950s family that never existed. It contorts and distorts history to turn our founding fathers into false idols whose words and views are as inerrant as their Bible"

It must be exceedingly difficult for this movement to swallow, but we have surely reached a point where the strikingly bizarre behavior displayed at this rally is significantly weirder to most Americans than floats at gay pride parades.
Maybe the writer should have actually joined the 24 hour prayer and fast and maybe, just maybe... he would begin to understand. Congratulations to Lou Engle...he has them running scared.

Engle would say it is not him but the faithful finally getting it that scares them so.

Is Huffington Post becoming pro life?

Could it be a conversion? Not really....but the "irony" is not lost on Catholic Vote who note that  Huffington Post, while doing  a piece on employment prospects of college graduates,  calls  them the Lost Generation. "The image the vehemently pro-abortion website has chosen for the logo is an image of pro-life graduates with a “precious feet” symbol on their mortarboards."

Huffington Post post insults the intellect of the reader

Huffington Post...Planned Parenthood and Me is filled with talking points that are so outrageous...do they expect anyone to believe this?  The woman waxes on and on about wonderful PP but makes the strange following comments:

"I met a woman who had been forced to have an abortion when a sonogram showed that her fetus had no heartbeat" (....so this would be a miscarriage...not an abortion. Funny she fails to cite one example of abort ion for any other reason)
They seem to be under the misguided notion that Planned Parenthood is an abortion provider. (....well since they report  that their latest report of 2008 -they are always late in getting this report out...that  they did 324,000++ abortions...so ya, we think they are the largest abortion provider because they are!!)

I became pregnant with a dearly wanted baby while working for Planned Parenthood and still recall how joyous everyone was for me as my belly grew.  (Notice the wanted part...if this was an unplanned pregnancy and she choose abortion it would still have been a baby...but they would have been equally happy I'm sure)

I  urge men with unresolved feelings about women to stay out of the health care decisions we make.....(excuse me but the father of the child has a stake in the life of his baby....this does not mean they have unresolved feelings about women.)
I wonder if she was equally proud of Planned Parenthood as she watched 3 years of undercover videos covering 11 states where PP was shown to be guilty of covering up statutory rape and aiding and abetting people reporting to be sex trafficking of underage girls brought into the country illegally.

Emily's List says abortion is a faceless procedure with no real life consequences

I know ...what do you expect from the Huffington Post but this line is almost laughable if the subject was not so serious. First of all Rep. Speier was trying to describe a miscarriage even though her grasp of anatomy was backwards. Saying that at 17 weeks pregnant she lost her baby....means miscarriage...this is not a term for abortion.....she then says that her baby moved from her vagina to her cervix. Actually, the vaginal area is below the cervix but what she undoubtedly means is that the baby dislodged from her uterine area and was in the process of being expelled as in a miscarriage and she underwent a D and C to remove the dead baby...not uncommon.
See the difference here. In once instance the baby is alive, thriving and growing and becomes deceased by the act of removing it from the uterus and in  the other the baby is deceased and is being removed. Maybe I can say it this way...taking a live baby and burning it up to cause her death or taking a dead baby and cremating her remains....see the difference. Of course they do but it is detract from the truth...that is the name of the game.
But this comment by Jess McIntosh, who speaks for Emily's List, a Democratic affiliated group that works to elect pro choice women to congress came up with the dumbest line of the week...except she is serious.

"..."Republicans are trying to demonize women by describing faceless procedures with no real life consequences. And what Representative Speier did yesterday was make that impossible. She put a human face on a real life choice. It' much harder to demagogue that."

Here is the human face Ms. McIntosh.....faceless procedure indeed!!! No real life consequences, indeed!!!

Abortion rights activist says ....."Stand down if you don't have ovaries!!

"Stand down if you don't have ovaries!" was the rallying cry of  Representative Janet Long of Tampa in denouncing a bill being debated in the FL legislature requiring pregnant woman to obtain an  ultrasound before  an abortion...... This caused abortion proponent  Jacob M. Appel to write a post on the Huffington Post lamenting her point of view.  He thinks this line of  thinking is not only flawed but politically unwise and only helps the opposition.
Some  interesting excerpts from Appel.....
"Increasingly, pro-choice activists are noting the political downside of relegating men to second-class status in abortion discourse. As Amanda Marcotte, a Pandragon.net blogger, recently told Newsweek: "When the anti-choice side pulls energy from both men and women who are eager to halt sexual liberation and control female bodies, and pro-choicers can only look to women, we're already running at half capacity."
Their own rhetoric of "my body, my choice" is having the unintended consequence of telling men that this is not their fight and to stay out of it. Never mind that it still takes a man to make the baby but then tells the man since he will not carry the baby in his womb..... it is none of his business.

Appel further states " the frequent claim that it's sexist to pay for ED drugs, but not pregnancy termination, or even women's contraceptives, is so deeply illogical and philosophically simplistic that it actually adds to the challenge of making the case for public funding."

Exactly and it pits women against men instead of being allies with them and makes the women look like whiners.....
Jill Stanek  devotes her weekend question to asking for reader comments on Why  the shortage of outspoken pro choice men?  Some really good responses are pouring in but  the one by Gerard Nadal is my personal favorite...
"Pro-choice men have been effectively neutered by the feminists. Now that they've created an army of lap dogs, they decide that they really want attack dogs. It's easier being a pro-life male. We get to be and act like men ought. And we get great women who aren't at war with their own nature, which means they aren't at war with the men who complement that nature and whose nature is complemented by women's.Maybe left-leaning guys are waking up."
